Meet Our Boxing Winners
Robbie MurrayRobbie MurrayRobbie started boxing at the age of 9. He was chronically sick with Asthma and through exercise and diet he overcame his condition. He represented his country at Youth and Elite Senior level winning medals in international tournaments. He then went on to become an undefeated professional boxing champion retiring after winning the Irish Professional Title. Through his career he was a sparring partner for several British, European and World champions including Eamon MaGee, Neil Sinclair, Shay Neary, Jim Rock & Wayne Alexander. Robbie has a marketing background and is a qualified Insurance practitioner although his passion for health and boxing prompted his decision to focus there. He is a Qualified Fitness Instructor and has completed numerous courses developing his skills and using them to deliver many of his own health programs including his “Six Week Fitness For Life Success Program” for secondary schools and corporate groups. He has been a speaker on many health issues and many of his articles have been published. In 2020 he developed a Respiratory Task Force Proposal which was brought to the minister for health. He works with Elite athletes of all disciplines aiding professional development and mental strength. Simulation training and patent recognition training techniques are validated by sports science. Robbie firmly believes simulated boxing training will be the key for the future. In addition to this Robbie is the managing director of St Matthew's boxing club. St Matthews is an inclusive club allowing boxers of all abilities and limitations get fully involved. Robbie is as keenly interested in delivering results to anyone who wants to improve their health. Working with those with COPD in addition to individuals looking to make real fitness changes to your life regardless of age.

Patrick MurrayPatrick Murray Patrick Murray, Robbie's younger brother has been a boxing coach over 10 years and has competed at the top level of amateur boxing. He has competed at international level and has been an Irish Intermediate Amateur Middleweight Champion. He went on to box at Elite Level losing in the Finals of the Irish Elites to Andy Lee, former Olympian and world champion. Patrick retired from boxing in his early 20s to pursue his career in comedy although he has never lost his passion for boxing and has been continuously kept busy sparring and boxing training through the years. He is now a full-time comedian and actor, he has several acting roles and had played a part in the renowned Irish series "Love Hate” He is a successful comedian and has performed on stage as far away as Hong Kong.
